The organic cotton-line EVA pedbed is extremely comfortable, and the padded collar and tongue provide an excellent fit. Simple Shoes believe in providing footwear and apparel with the smallest possible environmental footprint: so many of the materials used in construction are recycled. This is the case with this shoe: the outsole is constructed from a recycled car tire, and a bicycle tire is used on the midsole. This is a really fun shoe for kids who like a comfortable sneaker that can take serious wear-and-tear. Wonderful.

It's the bottom part of the sole - where the shoe's surface meets the ground. - What is a pedbed?
A pedbed is the (usually) soft cushiony lining at the bottom of the shoe - the part your that the bottom of your foot rests on - also known as the footbed. - What if my shoes don't fit?
